Hi! I am Hanna Berndt and I am so excited to be continuing as the Learning Centre Assistant for my second year at Shine!
I grew up in the Marwayne/Kitscoty area and graduated from Kitscoty High School in 2023. Growing up, I figure skated, played competitive volleyball, badminton and enjoyed volunteering in my leadership classes. I have worked at The Proper, a local restaurant in Lloydminster, for just over 2 years now. I absolutely love people and enjoy serving and making people happy. Working at The Proper has made me recognize the importance of supporting small organizations and the significance of family support. I enjoy road trips, concerts, the lake, golf and being with family and friends.

My first year at Shine was incredibly heartwarming to say the least. I enjoyed watching the students learn through honesty, personal responsibility and achieving goals that they thought were impossible. I am pleased to be joining Shine again this Fall and I am excited to watch the students grow academically and spiritually.
